Cape Cod Woodworkers is a member owned and operated organization with a 5 member elected board.
The board will be responsible for overseeing all shop operational decisions as required.
The Board will meet monthly or as needed and a quorum of 3 i Board members is required for approval of any motions to be put forward or decisions to pass. Once a year on the third Friday in January an election will be held for 4 of the 5 Board member seats, currently the President is a 5 year position and the Treasurer is a 2 year term.
All current shop members in good standing may run for a Board seat. If a board member resigns the president of the board will appoint an interim board member until the next January election. Initial Rules

Please submit your indication of interest, we are actively seeking board members at this time in addition to other operation needs. Once enough interest has been demonstrated we will hold a public meeting,
The CCW workshop will be open from 7 am - 7 pm 7 days a week The Workshop will be monitored at all times via a camera system. A Shop steward appointed by the board will be in charge of the shop and all decision made by a shop steward are final until reviewed by the CCW Board If needed.
NO ALCOHOL of any kind allowed in the shop unless approved by the President for public functions the CCW may hold from time to time.
NO WEAPONS of any kind allowed in the workshop.
NO Drugs of an kind.
$1 Million in General Liability Insurance naming the Cape Cod Woodworkers group must be up to date and on file at all times. This should cost about $20 a month (Check Next Insurance).
If Insurance lapses said member is not allowed to use and power equipment until policy is enforce again.
All personal tools within the workshop must have the member owners name attached to it.
All work table space but be kept in an orderly and organized manner - Shop steward will have final say on this rule. Glue ups are allowed. New members will be approved by 3 of the 5 board members prior to a new being allowed to use any tools
All members must be tested and qualified prior to using a particular power tool. Shop Steward and President may over ride this rule at their discretion.
All members using the Public store front operated by the CCW will pay a 5% commission for any item over $25 sold.
These funds will be deposited into the CCW general tool fund for the purchase of additions tools and or supplies for the CCW workshop.
Final Reules and regulations for the CCW will be made once the first Board meeting is held.
